Repeat customer — their tui na and Thai body massage are genuinely good, proper pressure and thorough work. The foot and shoulder massage is not. The bulk of the foot session went on pulling, cracking and kneading my toes, with very limited time spend on the calves and nothing at all on the thighs - presumably cause that takes more efforts. Book the body massages here; skip this one until they fix the leg work.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel I need to share it. I am not a first-time massage customer, and I am also not a first-time customer of Ayu Borneo. During my recent visit to the Taman Desa branch, the therapist repeatedly pressed the wrong areas throughout the session. I informed her several times, but the technique did not improve and the massage remained uncomfortable. The most disappointing part was what happened after the session. When I raised my concerns at the counter, I was told that customers can request a change of therapist within the first 10 minutes if they are not satisfied. However, this policy was never explained to me before the massage started. If customers are not informed of such an important policy, how are they expected to make use of it? Had I known, I would have requested a change immediately instead of enduring an unsatisfactory session. What upset me even more was the response from the front desk. Rather than listening to my feedback and addressing the issue professionally, the explanation felt dismissive and unhelpful. I rarely complain or leave negative reviews, which is why I am taking the time to write this. I hope management will take customer feedback more seriously, improve communication regarding therapist-change policies, and ensure complaints are handled with greater professionalism in the future.

I've been here a few times and have always had a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing because of the receptionist, Angie, who attended to me. She was rude and seemed very impatient when I asked whether I could use my package for a selected treatment. I also asked for a cup of tea, but she didn't respond at all. I assumed she would bring it, so I asked again, but she still said nothing. Later, I asked whether the cream used during the massage helps soothe the muscles. She smirked and said she didn't know what I was saying. When I asked if she wasn't familiar with the product, she replied in an arrogant tone that the cream is to relieve muscle pain. I came for a relaxing massage, not to have my English corrected or to be made to feel uncomfortable. After the massage, the therapist informed me that the receptionist had forgotten to serve my tea. However, the issue wasn't that she forgot, it was that she never even acknowledged my request in the first place. The massage itself was good, but the poor attitude and lack of basic courtesy from the receptionist completely affected my overall experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and provides better customer service training, as front desk staff are the first impression customers have of the business.
