I booked a 1.5 hour foot and shoulder massage, expecting to relax, but unfortunately the experience was the complete opposite. The masseur was sleepy throughout the session, to the point where I could barely feel her touch. She fell asleep several times while performing the massage. I even asked her, “Do you want to wash your face?” and she said no, then continued the session half-heartedly before falling asleep again. Instead of relaxing, I ended up feeling anxious throughout the session, constantly wondering and looking over to see whether she had fallen asleep again. It was honestly ridiculous and extremely frustrating. I refrained from confronting or scolding her during the session because there was another customer beside me enjoying her massage, and I did not want to disturb the whole room. After the session, I informed the front desk and filled in a feedback form. I sincerely hope the HQ takes the necessary action and addresses this issue properly. I paid for a 1.5 hour massage and expected a professional service, but this was unfortunately a complete waste of my time and money. Very disappointing. Funny how a 1.5 hour massage somehow turned into 1.5 hour of watching the masseur fall asleep again and again. Unfortunately, I wasn’t there for nap-watching session.

Disappointing front desk experience despite an excellent massage The massage itself was great, the masseuse was skilled and experienced. Unfortunately, the experience was significantly affected by the front desk staff. She was extremely rude and unprofessional, and I also overheard her openly gossiping about customers. This was inappropriate and made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Management, please take this seriously and consider retraining or changing the front desk staff. The therapists may be excellent, but poor front desk service can ruin the overall customer experience. The massage was genuinely good, but the front desk left a very bad impression.

Had a really pleasant experience at Ayu Borneo. The staff were very good, professional, and welcoming throughout the session. The environment was calm, relaxing, and very soothing. It’s definitely a great place to unwind and recharge after a tiring day. Overall, the massage experience was excellent, and I would definitely come again. Highly recommended! ✨
